Job description

Technical Professionals Group, LLC has immediate openings for Test Drivers to safely drive company vehicles, normally along a well defined and documented route. Test Driver must be aware of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems technologies and intermediate computer skills are required to verify correct operation of the installed vehicle data acquisition system.


This position may require you to work weekends and Overtime.


Schedule:

1st shift: 8:30am-4:30pm

2nd shift: 3pm- 11:30pm


This project is expected to last 6 months or greater


Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License- A driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Well motivated, self starter, high integrity and team player
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communications skills. The candidate must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English
  • Familiarity with new vehicle technology including Navigation systems, blind spot detection, active cruise control, lane departure warning, automated high beam assist, blue tooth, etc.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of automotive on board test instrumentation
  • Previous experience with Testing at a Proving Ground
  • Basic vehicle maintenance and electrical knowledge.


Additional Driver requirements

  • Must have a Valid Driver's License with a clean MVR for the last five (5) years.
  • Demonstrated the ability to safely operate a Vehicle.
  • Must be capable of driving either manual and automatic transmission equipped vehicles.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the necessary driving skills to become certified to drive on Customer proving grounds, if necessary.
  • Demonstrate efficient time management principles to streamline operations.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to read and interpret road signs, safety rules and test procedures in English.
  • Must be a team player and be able to understand detailed verbal instructions and written procedures
