To thrive as a Test Product Manager, you need a strong background in product development, quality assurance, and testing methodologies, typically supported by a degree in engineering or a related field. Familiarity with test automation tools (such as Selenium or JIRA), product lifecycle management systems, and relevant certifications like ISTQB are highly beneficial. Testing can involve simulations, laboratory analysis, or real-world trials to ensure the product meets all necessary requirements. Using test products helps companies minimize risks, improve product quality, and increase customer satisfaction.
