Job description

The nLogic team is seeking a Test Lab Engineer at The Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Advanced Research Center (ARC). This position requires an understanding of ground testing in different lab environments and ability to work in a dynamic team. The successful candidate will collaborate with Test Lab Integration Team during ground test events, coordinate lab activities and communication, and make decisions on next steps. Other duties include managing lab configuration, creating reports/documentation, operating lab equipment, utilizing basic engineering troubleshooting skills, and executing configuration management best practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in related field
  • Active Secret Clearance is required
  • History of working as a Test Engineer in a lab environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of one or more elements of the Missile Defense System
  • Collaborates well with customers to understand test requirements and test objectives
  • Experience in Documentation and Configuration
  • Willing to learn new things and share existing knowledge with others
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for efficiency
  • Adaptable to changing requirements
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Test Plan Creation Experience
  • Knowledge and Familiarity with MDA ARC or other MDA Integration Labs
  • Linux Systems Experience
  • Experience working in secure spaces

About the ARC
The Advanced Research Center (ARC) is a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) facility located in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, AL. The ARC is a Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) facility designed and operated to support Missile Defense System (MDS) Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Ground Test (GT) and Flight Test (FT) activities.

DTechLogic is the prime contractor supporting the ARC, which is a joint venture between Davidson Technologies and nLogic that was started in 2018. The DTechLogic ARC Team consists of five contractor teammates in Huntsville, AL. Standard ARC operation hours are 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, with some exceptions outside of this window to support test events that require night shift work for some positions.
