Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Performance Content Editor based in Netherlands.

Join a fast-growing e-commerce environment where creative content is measured by its ability to drive action, not simply generate awareness. In this role, you'll transform raw UGC and existing brand assets into high-performing paid social creatives for TikTok and Meta. You'll work closely with performance-driven content, refining hooks, pacing, messaging, and calls to action to maximize engagement and conversions. You'll create multiple variations of each concept to support rapid creative testing and iteration. Your work will combine video editing, static ad design, light copywriting, and an understanding of direct-response principles. This is an opportunity for a hands-on editor who enjoys using creativity and performance insights to continuously improve advertising results.

Accountabilities
  • Edit raw UGC footage into compelling short-form paid advertisements for TikTok and Meta, adapting content to formats including 9:16, feed, stories, and reels.
  • Structure videos around strong hooks, particularly within the first 2-3 seconds, to capture attention and encourage viewers to continue watching.
  • Add captions, subtitles, text overlays, and other visual elements that strengthen the core message and improve clarity.
  • Produce multiple creative variations from the same source material, experimenting with different hooks, CTAs, messaging angles, and edits to support performance testing.
  • Maintain a consistent premium, confident, and direct brand voice across all creative assets.
  • Create static Meta advertisements using tools such as Photoshop, Canva, or equivalent platforms.
  • Develop and iterate on product-focused, benefit-led, and social-proof-based static ad concepts.
  • Write or refine concise ad copy, headlines, and CTAs when needed.
  • Edit and optimize Amazon listing imagery, including main images, lifestyle assets, and infographics, as an additional area of responsibility.
  • Update and maintain A+ Content modules with relevant product messaging and visual assets.
  • Keep creative files clearly organized, consistently named, versioned, and ready for testing.
  • Use performance insights and creative testing results to inform future iterations and improve content effectiveness.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience editing short-form video specifically for paid social advertising on TikTok, Meta, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or an equivalent professional video-editing tool.
  • Proficiency with Photoshop, Canva, or comparable tools for creating and editing static advertising creatives.
  • Strong understanding of direct-response creative principles, including hooks, pacing, CTAs, messaging, and conversion-focused storytelling.
  • Demonstrated experience creating multiple variations of the same creative to test different hooks, CTAs, angles, or messaging approaches.
  • Ability to take raw UGC footage and transform it into polished, engaging, performance-focused advertising content.
  • Strong visual judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a consistent premium brand aesthetic.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing priorities and delivering work reliably against agreed timelines.
  • Clear and proactive communication, particularly around deadlines, feedback, revisions, and creative requirements.
  • Experience with Amazon listing imagery and A+ Content is a plus.
  • Familiarity with light motion graphics, animated text, transitions, After Effects, or advanced CapCut effects is advantageous.
  • Experience working within e-commerce or direct-to-consumer environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with performance marketing metrics such as CTR and CPA is a strong advantage.
  • A portfolio demonstrating actual paid advertising creatives is highly valued, particularly examples where performance data was used to guide creative iteration and optimization.
Benefits
  • Remote working environment.
  • Part-time contractor engagement of approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Flexible working structure suited to experienced remote professionals.
  • Opportunity to work on performance-driven creative for a growing e-commerce business.
  • Hands-on exposure to TikTok, Meta, and Amazon advertising ecosystems.
  • Opportunity to directly influence creative performance, testing, and conversion results.
  • Variety across video editing, static design, copywriting, and e-commerce content.
  • Opportunity to develop further expertise in performance marketing and direct-response creative.
  • Collaborative environment with a strong focus on measurable results and continuous creative improvement.
