Sales Representative, CMC Corporate Solutions 
CMC Corporate Solutions is a preferred Indoor Air Comfort service provider focused on Commercial HVAC Installation and Maintenance, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and Test and Balance (TAB) headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA with offices in New Orleans, LA and Jackson, Mississippi. CMC provides services in the healthcare, education, financial, data centers and other critical facilities across the region, delivering a comprehensive suite of services - including HVAC preventive maintenance, indoor air quality, energy management, air/water balance, design-build, and rebuild/refurbish solutions - all supported by in-house equipment installers, technicians, and Non-Proprietary Building Automation Controls Platform. 


About the Job 
This is a hunter role built for someone who wants to build a dynamic portfolio. You'll have a market demanding growth with a full suite of in-house capabilities to sell, and the autonomy to develop relationships and build a book of business from the ground up. You'll report to CMC's senior sales leader, and work closely with the market Service Manager and operations team. The role is based in Jackson, MS. The right candidate brings existing 
relationships, understands the commercial mechanical sector, and examines the opportunity to plant a flag in a market that's ready to grow. 


Responsibilities 
Develop net new client relationships in the North Louisiana and Mississippi markets, with primary focus on Jackson, MS and surrounding areas.
Sell the full CMC portfolio including commercial HVAC, preventative maintenance (PM) agreements, indoor air quality solutions, ductwork cleaning, building automation controls (BAS), test and balance services, and boiler and heating systems.
Prioritize representing CMC Core Values of Integrity and "Doing the Right thing Always"
Build and maintain a pipeline of commercial and clean industrial prospects including 
healthcare facilities, educational institutions and other critical facilities with the demand 
of indoor air comfort
Represent CMC with building owners, facility managers, and other key stakeholders
Maintain accurate records of leads, accounts, and sales activity
Work towards building and managing a host of business resulting in excess $2M range.
Stay current on market conditions, competitor activity, and HVAC industry developments
Minimum Requirements 
5+ years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry
Background in HVAC sales or HVAC management; technical sales experience strongly
preferred
Degree in construction science, engineering, or a related field preferred - significant
experience considered in lieu of degree
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to connect with a wide range of
customers, contractors, and engineers
Familiarity with the Mississippi and/or Louisiana commercial mechanical market
preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable building in an unstructured environment
