Job description

IESE Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer to support the United States Space Force's Program Executive Office (PEO) portfolio in El Segundo, CA. 

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Document program test strategy and plans, test scenarios and test requirements in development contractor contractual documents and Government program office documentation.
  • Work with development contractors to ensure developmental test objectives are consistent with applicable standards, instruction and policy.
  • Work with Government developmental and operational test agencies/organizations to develop the adequate test methodology consistent with the program manager's expectations and other external stakeholders, as appropriate.
  • Participate in test working groups which plan, status, and discuss test related matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in a technical degree pursuit and 2 years of relevant experience:
    • In technical programs, systems engineering and test policy/execution of large scale space-based and ground-based space systems and/or new start technical demonstration space and ground systems.
    • With test planning and documentation development.
    • With test requirements development.
    • With test engineering process and tool development.
    • With Department of Defense Test & Evaluation.
  • Must have an active DoD security clearance, adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
  • Willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.

Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred:

  • ITEA Certified Test & Evaluation Professional and, or INCOSE Certified Systems Engineer Professional credentials.
