Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 13+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and end-to-end testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing automation frameworks, developing automated test scripts, API testing, UI testing, and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web, API, and backend applications.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Java/Python, or similar automation technologies.
  • Develop reusable automation components and maintain existing automation suites.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar technologies.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
  • Identify, document, track, and validate defects using tools such as JIRA or similar defect-management systems.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers throughout the SDLC.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Perform test data preparation, environment validation, and troubleshooting of automation failures.
  • Review test results, identify failures, and provide detailed reports to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and contribute to automation best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and processes to improve test coverage and quality.
Required Skills
  • 13+ years of experience in Software QA, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
  • Strong programming experience with Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar testing frameworks.
  • Strong experience in API and web-services testing.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and API validation.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar test/defect management tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Selenium Grid, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
