Job description

Field AI is transforming how robots interact with the real world. We are building risk-aware, reliable, and field-ready AI systems that address the most complex challenges in robotics, unlocking the full potential of embodied intelligence. We go beyond typical data-driven approaches or pure transformer-based architectures, and are charting a new course, with already-globally-deployed solutions delivering real-world results and rapidly improving models through real-field applications.

We're looking for a highly skilled 3D Modeling & BIM Specialist to join our team and build high-fidelity indoor and outdoor environments for robotics, construction, and simulation applications.

This role sits at the intersection of 3D modeling, BIM, and simulation, and will play a critical part in developing environments for NVIDIA Isaac Sim and supporting internal workflows that power downstream products. You'll work on transforming real-world data into structured, simulation-ready digital environments used across robotics, construction, and emerging digital twin applications.

What You Will Get To Do
  • Build detailed, high-quality indoor and outdoor 3D environments for simulation and internal product use
  • Develop and refine environments for NVIDIA Isaac Sim based on real-world construction and site conditions
  • Convert point cloud data into accurate, structured BIM models
  • Own and improve internal BIM workflows, including model preparation, cleanup, structuring, and validation
  • Ensure all assets meet high standards for geometric accuracy, organization, and simulation readiness
  • Optimize models for performance, usability, and downstream applications (simulation, visualization, digital twins)
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and robotics
What You Have (required)
  • 4+ years of experience in 3D modeling, BIM, or related fields
  • Strong experience modeling architectural, construction, or industrial environments
  • Experience with tools like Rhino, Blender, and BIM platforms (Revit or similar)
  • Familiarity with simulation environments, especially NVIDIA Isaac Sim or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience working with both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Proven ability to generate BIM models from point clouds (Scan-to-BIM workflows)
  • Deep understanding of BIM structure, standards, and workflows
  • Strong attention to model quality, accuracy, and organization
  • Ability to produce assets that are clean, scalable, and production-ready
What Will Set You Apart (Preferred)
  • Experience with model cleanup, QA, and geometry optimization
  • Understanding of asset pipelines for simulation or digital twin applications
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments and contribute to building internal systems and workflows
Compensation and Benefits
Our salary range is competitive with the market, but we take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  Also, while we enjoy being together on-site, we are open to exploring a hybrid or remote option.
