Job description

Position Summary
The Tesla Vehicle Technician is a highly skilled flat-rate technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Tesla electric vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and safety protocols.
Compensation
Pay Range: $36.00 to $48.00 flat rate per hour (based on experience and certification)
Incentives: Production bonus opportunities based on performance and efficiency
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain Tesla vehicles including high-voltage systems
  • Perform advanced EV diagnostics using Tesla-specific tools
  • Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs
  • Perform software updates and system calibrations
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation
    • Follow all EV safety protocols
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of prior hands-on Tesla experience
  • Strong EV diagnostic and electrical skills
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Tesla Certification
  • ASE Certifications (EV or electrical specialties)

Required Education:
  • EV Certification from an ETA® approved EV school or Manufacturer Specific.
  • A-Level ASE Certification

Required Experience:
