Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of residential properties to identify pest infestations, including termites and rodents.
- Apply appropriate treatment methods to eliminate pests and prevent future infestations.
- Educate homeowners on pest prevention strategies and treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, and follow-up visits.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols and company standards are upheld.
- Perform climbing on ladders, walking on roofs, and crawling in tight spaces as needed to access infested areas.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Termite Rodent (TR) Technician or similar pest control role. (Preferred)
- Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and navigating tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
- Ability to walk on roofs and perform physical tasks required for pest inspections and treatments.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must have a driving record of 5+ years.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Additional Information:
A "floater" is a versatile technician who is flexible to work in various roles or locations within the company, providing support wherever needed. This position offers a schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Candidates will undergo six weeks of paid training at $17 per hour, after which they are guaranteed a minimum pay of $1,850 per pay period before taxes, bi-monthly.
