We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Termite/Pest Technician (Exterminator) to protect our customers' properties from termites and other pest organisms. In this role, you are not just a technician; you are the face of the company and a trusted advisor to our clients. This specialized role involves conducting thorough inspections, identifying infestations, and applying effective treatment and prevention services. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights, and will have strong communication skills to advise customers on treatment plans and preventative measures.
What You'll Do:
  • Find & Fix Termite and Pest Problems: Inspect homes (including attics and crawl spaces) to find termites and the damage they cause.
  • Treat the Problem: Use special tools and pest control products to get rid of termites. This might mean drilling, digging, or setting up bait stations.
  • Prevent Future Pests: Help customers understand how to protect their homes from termites.
  • Talk to Customers: Explain what you found, what you're going to do, and answer their questions.
  • Drive a Company Vehicle: You'll be given a company vehicle to travel to jobs, after training.

What You Need:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Be willing to learn (we provide paid training).
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Be available to work Mondays-Fridays and some weekends.

Essential Functions & Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in various environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, and in damp, dusty, or dark locations.
  • Requires significant physical activity: regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Must be able to enter and work in tight, confined spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
  • Must be able to work at heights, including climbing and working on ladders and roofs.
  • Potential exposure to insects, chemicals, and building materials.
  • Must be able to wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator.

Base Pay Range
Hourly: $17.00 - $23.00
