Location: Manatee, Florida | Primarily On-SiteThe OpportunityA growing marine logistics and terminal operations company is seeking an experienced Operations Administrator to support day-to-day operations at its Manatee location.
This is a highly visible role within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where processes continue to evolve as the organization expands. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced settings, enjoy wearing multiple hats, and bring both operational discipline and flexibility to a growing team.
Candidates with prior experience within maritime, terminal, port, stevedoring, or related logistics environments are expected to thrive in this role.
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this position will provide key administrative and operational support to leadership while helping improve processes and support business growth.
The Role
This is a hands-on operations support position responsible for providing administrative coordination and operational support across the business.
Success in this role requires adaptability, initiative, and a willingness to support evolving business and operational needs.
The Operations Administrator will partner closely with leadership and operational teams to ensure documentation remains organized, communication flows effectively, and administrative processes support business operations.

Qualifications

  • 35+ years of experience in operations administration, office administration, logistics support, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing records, permits, and operational documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.

What Youll Do
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support workforce coordination, scheduling, and time-off administration.
  • Manage operational documentation, including permits, contracts, and records retention.
  • Support logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading and shipping records.
  • Support administrative aspects of financial processes, including invoice coordination and related documentation.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve administrative and operational processes.
  • Coordinate office administration, supplies, and communication flow.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for special projects and evolving business needs.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $50,000$70,000/year (based on experience).
