About Us
Hackbarth Delivery Service is a leader in logistics and transportation solutions, delivering exceptional service, operational efficiency, and innovation. We're seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily terminal operations or specific functions like route launches, under the guidance of our Terminal Manager or Regional Director.
Your Role
  • Manage and improve logistics, warehousing, and inventory processes using performance metrics.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, drivers, contractors, vendors, and team members.
  • Support route analysis, pricing, and system tools (Xcelerator).
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and TSA regulations.
  • Implement customer-specific requirements for security, handling, packing, sorting, receiving, loading, and delivery.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and box trucks.
  • Enforce SOPs and escalate issues when needed.
  • Monitor and improve warehouse performance for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Drive company-leased or owned vehicles as required.
  • Perform other duties to meet strategic, operational, and financial goals.
  • Loading and Unloading 53' trailers.
  • Must understand and prioritize safety and cleanliness.
Qualifications
  • 1 year in logistics/transportation management.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation/courier operations.
  • Experience with transportation software (Xcelerator preferred).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (if driving for work).
  • Able to pass background check, MVR, and drug screen.
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
  • Prior computer experience is required.
  • Must be adaptable and capable of adjusting to operational changes as needed.
