We are looking for a person that is passionate about completing tasks and going above and beyond daily goals. This person will be very detailed and is committed to the success of the warehouse, the team, and the company. They will be responsible for transferring product with a forklift, Lull, yard spotter (or terminal truck) into/out of the warehouse and to other storage areas or departments.This person will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of shipments. They must be able to communicate well with the warehouse team and other departments. The following responsibilities are essential, but not all-inclusive.


Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

Inspect and organize received packages/shipments

Enter data into the asset system and take pictures of parts received

Operate overhead crane to move materials and load/unload trucks

Tag all pallets if they are on the dock for shipment or if they have not been received

Receive parts needed by the FAB shop. Parts are then placed in the FAB designated area

Organize,Load/move/unload truck shipments in a safe and efficient manner, including confined spaces

Receive shipments to the warehouse in a timely manner

Palletize, and move parts/pallets once received into the warehouse area

Operate pallet jack, forklift, Lull, yard spotter (or terminal truck) in a safe, and efficient manner

Maintain work area in a clean organized, and safe manner

Accurately check all shipments against e-mails and/or packing slips

Check schedule regularly for changes to receiving, shipping, order pulling, or order changes

Follow all safety rules and operational procedures that are in place in the warehouse

Maintain a very high standard of great customer service to all departments

Crosstrain in all areas of the warehouse

SUPERVISORY / BUDGETARY / EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY

This is an individual contributor.

Responsible for communicating internally and externally to employees and vendors.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENT (minimum competencies required for job performance)

Must be able to manage and prioritize shipping, receiving, and dock responsibilities

Must accurately receive parts/orders in and check shipments going out

Must have a sense of urgency throughout the day

Must be able to communicate effectively with the warehouse team and other department

Must possess a current/valid CDL class A license

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience working in a warehouse environment

Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control required

Must be able to drive a sit-down forklift, Lull, and yard spotter (terminal truck - both manual and automatic)

Must be able to work independently

Must have prior work experience as a CDL class A truck driver with a clean driving record

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands are those of a typical warehouse environment and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
