What is a terminal maintenance manager?

Terminal Maintenance Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of facilities and equipment at transportation terminals such as airports, seaports, or logistics hubs. Their role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring that all terminal infrastructure and equipment function properly to support daily activities.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a terminal maintenance manager?

To thrive as a Terminal Maintenance Manager, you need a solid background in mechanical or electrical engineering, facility management, and extensive experience in maintenance operations, often supported by a relevant degree or certifications like CMRP.
