Expected salary range of $183,600 to $204,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of Position
Provide overall management of the engineering function of accountability. As responsibility increases within the organization, hours of work may increase proportionally.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
  • Provide management, governance and oversight of the engineering function of accountability with respect to the needs and regulatory requirements of the nuclear fleet.
  • Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality engineering results
  • Participate as key manager in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance review regarding site and Constellation Nuclear. Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g., Employment, Development, Compensation, Performance Evaluation, etc.). Ensure consistent and effective work force practices through assigned supervisors/functions.
  • Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact fleet operations.
  • Participate as senior resource to Nuclear-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized and enhanced engineering systems and processes.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) or related science OR Active/Inactive Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license
  • 10 years of overall related experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
  • Supervisory or managerial experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Registration
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
  • Prior experience in a Nuclear Power or Mission Critical (Data Center) environment
  • Large-Scale Power Integration. 10+ years of high-voltage experience, preferred leading behind-the-meter (BTM) or colocation projects that interface directly with generating assets.
  • Technical Stability & Reliability. Proven expertise overseeing power flow and transient stability studies to ensure nuclear units remain protected and stable during sudden shifts in massive third-party loads.
  • Strategic Regulatory Leadership. A track record of navigating Nuclear (10 CFR 50.59) and Grid (NERC/FERC) compliance while managing technical and contractual requirements for hyperscale customers.
  • System Modeling: Experience overseeing studies in ETAP or equivalent nuclear-grade V&V software.
  • Protection & Control: Strong familiarity with SEL (Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories) relay logic and RTAC (Remote Terminal Unit Automation Controller) automation controllers.
