The following vacancy exists in the Branchburg Township School District 

for the 2026-2027 school year:

Leave Replacement Science Teacher

Branchburg Central Middle School

Dates: November 16, 2026 - February 18, 2027

No tenure accrual

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, learning assessments and research related to learning.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and technology skills.
  • Ability to engage students in learning.
  • Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.

Certification Requirements:

  • Holds or is eligible for a New Jersey instructional certificate with appropriate teaching endorsement.

Compensation: Following the established BTEA Salary Guide ranging from $64,489.00 to $101,795.00, commensurate with experience. 

Benefits: 

  • Full-time employees are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and Dental Benefits.
  • Optical Reimbursement: Branchburg Township School District offers $325 per year towards optical reimbursement including prescription glasses or prescription contact lenses.
  • Enrollment in the New Jersey Pension System is subject to term/status of the position.
