Job Description:
Baylor Tennis is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented college stringer to assist with racquet stringing operations for the men's and women's tennis programs. This position is ideal for someone with previous racquet stringing experience who enjoys working in a high-level collegiate athletic environment.
The position offers flexible scheduling while requiring dependability during busy match and tournament periods.
Responsibilities
1.String and re-string tennis racquets for team practices, matches, and tournaments
2.Maintain consistency and accuracy with requested tensions and string setups
3. Operate and maintain Baiardo Wilson stringing machines
4. Assist with inventory and organization of strings, grips, and accessories
5. Help ensure racquets are completed in a timely manner for practices and competition
6. Communicate with coaches and players regarding racquet needs and turnaround times
7. Keep the stringing area clean and organized
Qualifications
Previous racquet stringing experience required
1. Knowledge and experience using Baiardo Wilson stringing machines preferred
2. Understanding of different string types, tensions, and player preferences
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Dependable, organized, and punctual
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends during competition periods
