The Position
Responsible for the management of the men's and women's tennis program including scheduling, recruitment of student-athletes, equipment ordering and inventory, and student-athlete development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages the men's and women's tennis program to ensure that the health, safety and academic pursuits of their student-athletes are the top priority.
  • Directs the program's planning, prepares and monitors program budget.
  • Develops and directs a college community relations program leading to the positive promotion of the men's and women's tennis program and its student athletes.
  • Develop and implements a professional relations effort.
  • Represents the Department and Student Affairs Division in the College Community, developing relationships conducive to program and departmental success.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of an effective strategy for recruiting qualified student-athletes for the men's and women's tennis program.
  • Develops and directs an effective program fostering the academic, athletic and personal growth of student-athletes within the men's and women's tennis program.
  • Develops and directs and effective plan for the ordering, maintenance, and inventory of practice, player, and game equipment.
  • Serves as a manager for selected athletic events.
  • Carries out other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A working knowledge of NCAA and ODAC rules.
