Job description

The Tucker Tennis Academy (TTA) is located in Tulsa, OK out of Genesis Health Club at Riverside. Within the academy, there are classes for all ages and skill levels ranging from beginner juniors/adults, to advanced international junior competitors.
TTA is currently looking for a Director of High Performance to join its staff to lead, manage and oversee the High-Performance Full-Time Program, as well as, work with the afterschool Academy Program and Elite Class. This person will start with 28 hours of programming hours with the potential to teach 12+ private lessons managed by self and will co-report to the Director of Tennis and Director of Operations.
The purpose of the Director of High Performance is to develop and service junior tennis players who aspire to or are playing at a highly competitive level. This person will be expected to train and evaluate tennis pros, to evaluate new students, and to promote and administer lessons, events, and activities.
Needs to be able to work on the weekends, travel to tournaments in the US and needs to have a US work permit.
Some Responsibilities and Expectations will include:
- Be the on-court lead professional for the Full-Time Program by preparing lessons plans in advance
- Support and manage the Full-Time Program partnerships including Tennis Analytics, 3D Motion Analysis, Physical Therapist, and Mental Training sessions
- Assist the other lead coaches of the programs with implementing high-performance practices into their classes as needed
- Maintain accurate class attendance records
- Coaching private and group self-generated lessons
- Defining/planning player areas of focus and travel schedules for the players he/she is coaching as a primary coach
- Tournament travel across the U.S. minimum one weekend per month or as needed to coach players at tennis tournaments
- Assisting in the preparation, organization, and delivery of various programs
- Act as the contact point person for the Full-Time Program for players and parents
Qualifications will include:
- Minimum tennis playing experience at either the college or professional level
- Capable of running specific drills/groups independently
- USPTA, USPTR, or other coaching certifications
- Net Generation/background screened certified

Under the direction of the National Tennis Director and the Club - Tennis Director, the Director of Junior Competitive Tennis will create and deliver a dynamic, high energy, engaging and success driven training program for junior competitive players.
The Director of Junior Competitive Tennis will be responsible for all duties associated with on court teaching, off court and building of a competitive tennis program.
