Job description

Tennis Court Maintenance Staff Member

SUMMARY: This position involves entry level to semi-skilled equipment operation work
and tennis court maintenance in the tennis department of the San Antonio Country Club.
Responsible for preparing tennis and pickleball courts for daily play: Keeping tennis
area mowed and trimmed, doing daily, weekly and annual maintenance to the clay
courts. Perform related work as required in our department. Will learn and be
responsible for skills necessary to maintain and improve a private upscale tennis
facilities. This position is under the direct supervision of the Tennis Director and Head
Tennis Pro, Tennis Shop Manager or The Court Maintenace Leader.
Salary is based on experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but is not limited to the
following:
Assists in the care and maintenance of all the courts(Clay & Hard) and surrounding areas next
to courts.
Operates smaller equipment as directed by their Supervisor.
Repair clay courts and lines when necessary.
Report any needed repairs or equipment malfunctions to Tennis Director, Head
Pro, Shop Manager, and Court Maintenace Leader.
Perform other duties as directed by their supervisor.
Safely operate all equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS

duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,

Education and/or Experience
Mechanical aptitude.
Prior tennis and country club experience preferred.
Requires a valid Texas driver's license.
Language: Ability to read, write and comprehend training.
