We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Tender Touch Physical Therapy & Wellness in Renton, Washington. As an onsite Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will work in a collaborative, supportive atmosphere alongside a diverse multidisciplinary team including other therapists, physicians, and healthcare providers. Our clinic is equipped with advanced rehabilitation equipment, and we utilize Evidence-based practices and cutting-edge rehabilitation protocols to ensure our patients receive the highest level of care. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a consistent schedule and work-life balance.

• Perform thorough initial evaluations of patients to establish their current physical abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education on injury prevention.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and optimize therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients and their families about injury management and rehabilitation processes to promote understanding and enhance cooperation during treatment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and quality assurance protocols.

This position primarily focuses on orthopedic patients ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to those with chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse client base, including athletes, individuals recovering from surgery, and older adults seeking to improve mobility. Your expertise will directly impact their recovery journeys, helping them regain their independence and functionality.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy and manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with a variety of patient demographics.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably within an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.
• A proven ability to adapt treatment strategies based on patient responses and evolving needs.
