Job Description: Reimbursement Analyst 7:00AM-3:30PM

The Reimbursement Specialist Analyst analyzes reimbursement trends and identifies underpayments, facilitates reconsiderations, and appeals with payers. This role coordinates and oversees the complete process of underpayment reconsiderations, including correction of insurance plan errors, payment transfers, and account adjustments.


Qualifications

 Experience:

2 + years medical contracts and claims experience.

 

Education:
High School or equivalent.

Requirements:

  • Experience in medical payer contracts. Explanation of benefits experience preferred.
  • Articulate with medical insurance terminology.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and 10-key data entry skills.
