Temporary Yard Mule Driver information

Do you have to have a CDL to drive a temporary yard mule?

For a temporary yard mule driver, a commercial driver's license (CDL) is typically not required since yard mules are often operated within a facility and do not travel on public roads. However, some employers may prefer or require a CDL depending on the size and type of equipment, so it's important to check specific job requirements. Basic safety training and understanding of equipment are usually necessary.
