Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Erie, Pennsylvania.

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification

• Experience operating invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment, oxygen and aerosol devices, and nebulizer devices
• Experience with chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, and capnography monitoring
• Experience performing 12-Lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition
• Experience with pulmonary function studies including NIF and VC
• Experience assisting with bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and chest tube placement according to policy
• Experience with tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal of tracheostomy tubes
• Experience performing arterial puncture and monitoring, recording, and reporting test results
• Experience performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to BLS and ACLS guidelines
• Experience with insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes via free hand technique and/or video laryngoscope system
• Experience setting up, testing, operating, maintaining, and monitoring mechanical ventilation equipment
