Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Night shifts: 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) with options for call.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and at least 1 year of EPIC documentation system proficiency. Responsibilities include providing critical care to neonates with various diagnoses, managing specialized equipment, and floating to other NICU units as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Perform advanced neonatal care procedures, including full body cooling and managing chest tubes.
  • Provide support for families and educate them on care processes.
  • Utilize specialized neonatal medical equipment effectively.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Handle emergency situations and implement protocols for critical care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current SC RN license.
  • Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE.
  • At least 2 years of NICU experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with EPIC documentation system.
  • Travel experience is required.
