Temporary Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) - Corpus Christi, TX
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate temporary Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join a biologic infusion services organization that supports physician-led outpatient infusion and injectable therapy programs. This is an approximately 12-week contract covering a maternity leave, with a projected start date in October 2026.
This role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality IV and biologic treatments while ensuring efficient daily operations within a small, patient-focused infusion suite. The Infusion RN will administer biologic therapies, monitor patients for safety and adverse reactions, and maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while providing exceptional patient care and maintaining clinical standards.
Employment Details:
  • Pay: $40-$45/hour
  • Employment Type: Contract (Temporary)
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Dress Code: Solid color scrubs
  • Duration: Approximately 12 weeks (maternity leave coverage), starting October 2026

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe, high-quality patient care during infusion and injection treatments
  • Prepare and administer biologic medications according to established protocols
  • Perform accurate medication calculations and reconstitution
  • Oversee daily operations of a small infusion suite
  • Monitor, maintain, and organize medical supplies and clinical equipment
  • Manage biologic medication inventory and procurement
  • Document all patient care activities in an EMR system
  • Ensure compliance with clinical safety standards and protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff

Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
  • Recent IV and infusion therapy experience required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience using EMR systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to balance clinical care with light administrative responsibilities
