Description
The City of La Crosse is seeking to hire event staff at La Crosse's premier convention site and entertainment destination for concerts, conventions, trade shows, entertainment, and sporting events. Positions are responsible for serving the public attending events within the facility, setting up portable bars and concession stands for events and restocking, assisting with food preparation and food service, and aiding in setting up events, cleaning, organizing and general duties.
These are part-time positions working 20-30 hours weekly. Flexible 6-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Must be able to lift 45lbs. No experience necessary. Starting wage is between $12.00 and $15.00 per hour. In addition to hourly pay, some positions eligible for tips. These positions do not acquire benefits.
All positions are part-time, and work varied schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
