This position will involve supporting a physician who is a clinical cancer researcher in the day-to-day operations of clinical research conducted at the Abramson Cancer Center / University of Pennsylvania. S/he will be responsible for a myriad of research-related tasks including:
Presentation / publication preparation: preparing and editing Powerpoint presentations; preparing manuscripts, completing applications for submission on web platforms; creating figures and tables from abstracted data. Data abstraction, mining, entry: entering and manipulating data in Microsoft Excel; creating and maintaining a Redcap database Administrative tasks, completing reports for grants, applications for grants, and assist with coordination of and preparation for study meetings.
This individual must be organized, highly attentive to detail, motivated, and knowledgeable about Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I am specifically looking for someone with excellent grammar and communication skills who is a quick learner. Time per week will be decided on by the physician and staff member.
