Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and efficient Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team in Knightdale, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately loading and delivering products to customer locations while providing excellent customer service and ensuring safe, efficient delivery operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and possesses strong communication skills to ensure smooth delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading: Safely load items onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper stacking and securing load to prevent damage during transit.
  • Delivery Operations: Drive delivery vehicles to customer locations, job sites, or other designated destinations, following established routes and schedules.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous service during deliveries, including assistance with unloading and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Unloading: Confirm the accuracy of delivered items against delivery documents, and unload items upon arrival at the destination.
  • Documentation: Complete all required delivery documentation, including invoices and receipts. Collect customer signatures upon delivery.
  • Inventory Coordination: Work with warehouse personnel to ensure the accuracy of product quantities before loading for delivery. Report any discrepancies.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle, reporting issues promptly, and ensuring the vehicle is properly maintained.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while driving and delivering. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
