- Have the ability to prioritize safety of self and coworkers.
- Have the flexibility to work overtime as assigned for business-critical needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma, GED, or technical (2 yr) degree, required.
- Ability to perform basic visual weld inspections.
- Ability to read and translate prints, drawings, etc. and interpret codes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Have basic math skills to perform measurements.
- Must have experience meeting quality specs and standards per design specifications.
- Experience utilizing measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
Preferred:
- Preferred experience with manual GTAW (TIG Welding) welding with stainless steel or 625 Inconel materials for 3+ years.
- Preferred experience with thin materials (0.063"-0.025").
- Preferred experience or previous weld certifications of AWS D17.1 standards.
- Preferred experience fitting up, welding joints, and utilizing fixtures to weld.
- Preferred experience in troubleshooting joint fit ups, welding issues, etc.
