UPMC’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) seeks a full‑time interventional cardiologist for its expanding team. The successful candidate will have a clinical academic appointment and provide interventional services at UPMC Jameson. HVI collaborates with Pittsburgh interventional colleagues to provide 24/7 STEMI coverage. Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, TEE, cardioversions, temporary and permanent pacemakers, intra‑aortic balloon pumps, and peripheral angiograms and interventions by vascular surgery. HVI at UPMC Jameson has two cath labs and is part of a network that includes HVI Horizon‑Greenville and HVI Horizon‑Shenango.

Choose to live in or near the Pittsburgh metropolitan area (e.g., Cranberry Township) and commute to practice, or live in suburban areas near UPMC Jameson or UPMC Horizon. • Provide interventional cardiology services, including diagnostic and therapeutic catheterizations
• Perform TEEs, cardioversions, pacemaker implantations, and intra‑aortic balloon pump placements
• Conduct peripheral angiograms and interventions in collaboration with vascular surgery
• Assist with 24/7 STEMI coverage in partnership with Pittsburgh colleagues
• Engage in clinical academic duties, including teaching and research activities

• Board certification in Cardiology
• Valid Pennsylvania medical license
• Proven experience in interventional cardiology practices
