DESCRIPTIONSummary:This role will direct and administer materials management, scheduling and production planning activities, including control of all aspects of inventory for the division.
Principal Accountabilities: (Functional)- Develops production plans which respond to forecasted business demands.
- Responsible to manage the Sales and Operations Planning. (S&OP)
- Analyzes and evaluates inventory and delivery problems.
- Provides shipping and inventory data to financial management.
- Develops and/or approves information systems for manufacturing control, order entry, customer service and statistical reporting.
- Performs other job related duties as required.
Principal Accountabilities: (General Supervisory)- Carries out organizational policy and applicable State and Federal laws, including interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning and directing work and appraising performance.
- Interprets company policies to employees and enforces all safety regulations.
- Assures efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department; may include budget development and control.
- Develops workforce planning and utilization programs to satisfy actual and projected requirements. Includes the scheduling of overtime and cost/effective use of temporary services.
- Implements cross-training activities and plans for employees under his/her direction with specific attention toward the development of a highly flexible workforce.
- Establishes and implements team/individual Critical Success Factors, including the measurement and documentation of the progress of each employee toward the established goals.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work-related problems.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in relative field is required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in materials planning, inventory, and warehouse stock control.
- Minimum 3 years of functional team management.
- Notable knowledge and experience in the implementation and utilization of MRP systems.
- SAP ERP experience is preferred.
Responsibility for Quality Procedures or Direct Product Quality:- Adheres to Universal Quality System policies and procedures and uses Total Cycle Time principles and standard problem solving tools to continuously improve work processes.
Physical Demands:- Requires the ability to use a computer on a frequent basis.
- May have to remain stationary for extended periods, but be mobile enough to navigate through work areas.
- Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and in giving presentations.

Target Annual Base Pay: $95,000 - $115,000 + Bonus + Robust Benefits
