Job description

Project Controls Specialist
What we are looking for:
Aldridge is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Controls Specialist to join our talented and energetic team. Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract structure establishes a cost ceiling for all construction activities while maintaining full transparency and accountability between the Owner and Contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a detailed GMP that includes all labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, general conditions, contingencies, and allowances required to complete the project.
What you'll do:
  • Align the GMP with preliminary & baseline schedule to confirm labor and equipment forecasts.
  • Facilitate coordination between estimating, project management, field operations, and engineering to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Validate revisions to ensure changes are incorporated into the GMP.
  • Maintain a formal GMP Risk Register.
  • Work closely with Project Management Team to:

Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related industry.
  • Construction experience preferred, but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • A clear and concise communicator able to work seamlessly with clients, operations, and executive teams.

What we offer:
The annual base pay for this role is between $75,000-$125,000. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions.
