CORE JOB SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator performs a variety of research, planning, and administrative functions to support and facilitate the growth of the specific program. This position coordinates day-to-day operations of the program, event planning activities, and the assists with the development, organization, production, and evaluation of the program to achieve its mission, goals, and objectives.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Evaluates the learning experience and improve the quality and value of the program.
2. Registers students for courses using University procedures and systems, if needed.
3. Develops strategic partnerships with external entities and organizations.
4. Creates monthly budget reports to ensure operations are within plan.
5. Assists with database maintenance and enrollment management.
6. Ensures administrative processes and associated forms for instructor services are completed in a timely manner.
7. Responds to various instructor requests and telephone, email, and internet submissions for all programs.
8. Plans and participates in meetings for the department.
9. Supports department and/or department leadership with daily clerical tasks.
10. Serves as the liaison between the department and other business units.
11. Prepares materials related to marketing, student recruiting, fundraising, data reporting and other functions needed to support the work of the department.
12. Makes travel arrangements and reservations for department leadership and staff, and coordinates reimbursements as needed.
13. Coordinates events and relevant tasks.
14. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
Certification and Licensing:

  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.
