Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver
Company Overview:
Novick Corporation is a food distribution company that specializes in servicing foodservice clients in childcare centers and educational settings. Members of the team are USDA and CACFP specialists, and work with our childcare partners to provide healthier snack and meal options. Because we specialize in childcare, we have a full range of offerings, including food, cleaning, and paper supplies. Our ancillary services allow us to partner with our clients to help fulfill each individual program's goals for the health of their children. Services include menu planning with our nutritionists, nutritional trainings, portioning and serving guidelines, Serve Safe, inventory and cost control assistance, access to healthier child-friendly product and recipes, and more.

Philadelphia, PA Full Time/Hourly Based on years of experience
Responsibilities Include:
  • Driving trucks to safely transporting various temperature-controlled products on predetermined routes in a safe and timely manner observing all state and federal laws.
  • Verifying delivery of items with clients and obtaining proper signatures
  • Entering and receiving data from assigned handheld device and utilization of any assigned equipment on/off truck per Novick Corporation
  • Performing all pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities to include comparing truck number, invoices to load, backhauls, and temperature settings
  • Unloading product from the truck utilizing the use of a two-wheeled hand truck and the use of a pullout ramp and/or power tailgate.
  • Communicating with personnel regarding any mis-picks, returns, refusals, or any other delivery issues.
  • Demonstrating superior service standards.

Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma; 2-years accident- free driving record; current license
Preferred Applicable and verifiable experience in multi-stop client deliveries; preferably in the food industry with multi-temp trucks; delivery experiences to childcare facilities, schools, nursing homes, and hospitals
