Supply Chain Buyer (Temp or Temp-to-Hire) We are partnering with an innovative, fast-growing defense tech company in Hawthorne that’s scaling quickly — and they need a tactical Supply Chain Buyer who thrives in “firefighting mode.” If you love expediting, tracking down past-due orders, working closely with suppliers, and keeping the shop floor moving — this is your lane. What you’ll be doing: Placing and managing POs Following up on past-due and at-risk shipments Driving supplier accountability Supporting production with urgency and precision Keeping things moving in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment Must-Haves: 2–5 years of tactical buying or supply chain ops experience Bachelor’s degree (field doesn’t matter) Intermediate Excel (VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables) Strong follow-up skills + sense of urgency Nice to Have: Defense industry experience Systems: NetSuite + ERP experience (Ion is a plus) ? Onsite in Hawthorne to start (hybrid 3 days onsite once settled) ?
