Job description

Hunton Rental Solutions (HRS), a division of the Hunton Group, is seeking to hire a Rental Project Engineer to support the engineering, coordination, and execution of temporary rental projects involving HVAC, power generation, electrical distribution, compressed air, and fluid handling systems. This position combines technical engineering expertise with project coordination and operational support to ensure temporary systems are designed, deployed, and executed successfully.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the engineering, design, and execution of temporary rental projects.
  • Assist with equipment selection, sizing calculations, and application reviews for HVAC, power, and fluid handling systems.
  • Develop project layouts, equipment schedules, technical drawings, and support documentation.
  • Coordinate project logistics, mobilization, and demobilization activities.
  • Support equipment startup, commissioning, operational testing, and system performance verification.
  • Perform customer site assessments and provide technical recommendations.
  • Coordinate with field technicians, operations personnel, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Assist with project scheduling, resource planning, and execution strategies.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and emergency response projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor project performance and recommend operational improvements.

Qualifications
