Job description

Survey Party Chief leads field survey operations, overseeing boundary, construction layout, and topographic surveys while mentoring junior staff. They manage field data, equipment, and ensure accurate results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute field survey tasks, including boundary/ALTA surveys, construction layout, and topographic surveys
  • Mentor and coach junior survey staff
  • Represent the organization on field projects
  • Manage field data and maintain accuracy
  • Maintain truck and survey equipment

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a qualified crew chief
  • Flexible schedule for overtime and availability for occasional short‐term travel
  • Hands‐on experience with Trimble or similar survey equipment
  • Interest in learning UAV (drone) piloting

Preferred Skills:

  • FAA Part 107 certification
