About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital
This 530-bed, Magnet®-designated facility offers a comprehensive array of services to the rapidly growing communities of the northern Detroit suburbs. Scope of work
Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices. Follows Corewell philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Qualifications
Education / Training:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently in accredited Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Ultrasonography program at 2nd year student level.

Work Experience:
  • Training can be gained while at student level. Must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program.

Certification, Licensure, Registration:
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers Course from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.
