Job description


Position Description:
This position will serve as the athletic trainer for women's basketball and other assigned teams and will work as part of the Sports Medicine team to facilitate the care of student-athletes.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Responsibilities include evaluation of illnesses, injuries, and course of action.
  • Assist in coordinating appropriate medical personnel coverage and travel with assigned teams for away competition.
  • Serve as a liaison for the medical care and well-being between student-athletes, coaches, physicians, healthcare providers and sports medicine staff.
  • Update and maintain accurate medical records for individual student-athletes, including medical history, physical exam forms, daily injury reports and progress notes.
  • Responsible for the operation and implementation of preseason physicals.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • 1-2 years of experience at the collegiate level.
  • Master's Degree, BOC certified, Indiana License or ability to obrain, CPR/First Aid

Other Qualifications:
Indiana License or ability to obtain
