Job description

Large Wheel Finisher

Location: South Holland, IL

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift - 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Assignment Type: Temp to Hire 

Requirements: Authorized to work in the U.S.


Position Overview:

Our client is seeking dependable and hardworking employees to join our Large Wheel Finishing Department. This is a smaller department with opportunities to learn multiple processes and grow within the company.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Balancing wheels
  • Buffing and finishing products
  • Setting up face, drill, and ream operations
  • Performing speed tests
  • Re-balancing wheels
  • Blowing off wheels for cleaning and inspection
  • Cutting bushings
  • Stone cutting triangle operations
  • Following quality and safety procedures
  • Assisting with general production duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Manufacturing or production experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Dependable with good attendance
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required
