Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled maintenance associate to join our team at Bradshaw Home. This is a temp to hire position. The ideal candidate will be performing various maintenance and operational tasks within our warehouse facility. The primary focus will be to ensure the proper functioning, cleanliness, and safety of equipment and facilities to support the smooth operations of our warehouse.

This position is fully onsite M-F, 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities:

The typical tasks include:

1. Operational Support:

  • Ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of powered equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc), VAS area conveyance, heat wrap, bailors/compactors, de-stuffits, pallet wrappers, pallet inverters, battery changing and other specialized equipment.
  • Provide equipment for operational use including:
    • Assisting in unloading and organizing pallet deliveries in the warehouse.
    • Managing V-board inventory and cut to size for packaging and shipping needs.

2. Trash Collection and Clean up:

  • Organizing and executing regular trash collection and disposal.
  • Collecting and appropriately storing items for recycling
  • Responding promptly to any oil or water spills and ensuring proper cleanup and containment.
  • Conducting janitorial tasks for outdoor areas like the patio and yard.
  • Managing the removal and loading of bails from the facility.

3. Preventive Maintenance and Light Repairs

  • Conducting minor plumbing repairs as needed.
  • Performing wall painting and patchwork to maintain the aesthetics of the warehouse.
  • Addressing and fixing any damages to the warehouse racking system.
  • Assisting in various special projects as assigned by the management.
  • Coordinate with vendors on site to repair or maintain items, as appropriate.

Position Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid Georgia Driver's License.
  • Experience with small power tools.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Experience in cleaning and janitorial work.
  • Available to work from 6:00 am to 12:00 am.
  • Knowledge and experience in general maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read and speak English; bilingual skills are optional but beneficial.

Pay and Benefits:

US$20.00 - US$21.00 Hourly
