NOW HIRING – 1st Shift Forklift Operator

Romeoville, IL
Pay: $20.00/hr.
Shift: Wednesday-Saturday | 5:00 AM- 3:00 PM (10-hour shift)
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Position Summary
We are hiring Stocker/Forklift Operators for our Dry Area. Depending on the department, operators may be required to operate a Stand-Up Forklift, Cherry Picker, or Turret.
Operators will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials and products throughout the distribution center using powered industrial equipment.
This role supports warehouse inventory management and replenishment activities while ensuring all equipment is operated safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Bring overhead products down to designated pick bays.
• Stock and restock overhead storage locations.
• Rotate inventory according to date codes and warehouse procedures.
• Utilize RF equipment and warehouse computer systems to track inventory movement.
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow all OSHA, company safety, and equipment operating procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and dependable work performance.
• Protect confidential company information.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Must be flexible (manual labor + equipment work)
  • Equipment certification provided
  • Cold storage roles available (freezer PPE provided)
  • Safety shoes required (ASTM F2413-18 or F2413-24)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Resume and interview required.
  • Work Schedules are normally 8-10 hours.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
