About This Position

Supervise assigned aspects of Distribution Center/Warehouse operations in providing commissary operations and services to assigned locations.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain working knowledge of all phases of KCN, Shipping and Outbound operations.
  • Assist with aspects of supervising, training, scheduling and disciplining stockers, pickers, shipping staff, drivers, and receiving staffs as assigned.
  • Ensure orders are properly received, inventoried, stocked and rotated into warehouse inventory accurately and efficiently.
  • Maximize Quality Production with limited down time and waste.
  • Comply with FDA and OSHA guidelines.
  • Ensure employees are picking accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to recognize and correct quality issues.
  • Delegate workload to warehouse personnel to achieve daily goals.
  • Address unsafe condition immediately.
  • Open and/or close facility as directed.
  • Set dock appointments.
  • Maintain rotation of inventory following FIFO procedures.
  • Inventory warehouse material and supply.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts as well as semi-annual inventories.
  • Assist to maintain accurate inventories of all products.
  • Ensure Stockers are making proper transactions on the RF Scanners.
  • Ensure all employees know and follow all rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the warehouse.
  • Perform and report weekly/daily audit.
  • Process and manage the submission of weekly timesheets of temp labor.
  • Assist Manager with performing required Employee Performance Reviews for employees (30-day, 90-day, annual).
  • Maintain all warehouse areas/equipment/products in a neat, clean and orderly manner.
  • Maintain and insure all employees follow the policies and procedures outlined in the KCN Best Business Practices Guide at all times.
  • Complete miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned by Warehouse Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
