Job description

Sprinkler Fitter / Installer

Location: Tampa Bay Area, FL
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

We are currently hiring experienced Sprinkler Fitters / Fire Sprinkler Installers for commercial projects in the Tampa Bay area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for steady work with the potential to go permanent.

Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and service commercial fire sprinkler systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Install pipe, fittings, valves, hangers, and sprinkler heads
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble sprinkler pipe
  • Assist with system testing and troubleshooting
  • Follow all jobsite safety requirements and OSHA standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter or Installer
  • Experience with commercial sprinkler systems preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand sprinkler layouts
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Ability to work from lifts, ladders, and elevated platforms
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Experience

  • NFPA/fire sprinkler system knowledge
  • Commercial construction experience
  • Pipe threading and grooving
  • Hydraulic testing and system installation
  • Experience working with sprinkler contractors
