1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:Responsible for providing day-to-day support for business-critical systems, ensuring operational stability, and quickly resolving incidents. This role ensures timely incident resolution, operational excellence, and continuous improvement for critical deposit pricing and rewards capabilities supporting the bank's consumer and commercial product portfolios.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve lower to medium-priority technical issues with guidance from senior engineers, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

2. Support day-to-day monitoring of system performance and batch processes, use monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch) to detect anomalies and take corrective actions.

3. Collaborate with business vendor and cross-functional teams to resolve technical incidents and escalate higher-complexity issues to senior engineers as needed.

4. Assist in automating routine production support/business tasks by developing or modifying scripts and tools.

5. Maintain documentation for production issues, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations, contributing to the shared knowledge base.

6. Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes, following ITIL best practices.

7. Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and assist senior engineers in implementing permanent fixes to improve system stability.

8. Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance system performance and minimize downtime.

9. Assist with mentoring and supporting junior-level engineers, providing guidance as needed.

10.Work closely with business product and delivery teams to support pricing strategy rollouts and reward program updates.

11. Partner with Zafin vendor engineers for escalations and issue resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications

1.Bachelor's Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience

2.In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices
3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
4.Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
5.Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

1.Master's degree and ten+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

2. Experience in supporting vendor applications integrated with API's(REST/SOAP), Middleware systems, Message queues (MQ/Kafka), ETL processes and data flows.

3.Experience with deposit products (checking, savings, CDs, money market accounts) and understanding of pricing strategies: tiered interest, product bundles, relationship

pricing, promotional rates.

4. Knowledge of Zafin's pricing & billing product is an advantage.

5. Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow with solid understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.

6. Proficiency in using monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or CloudWatch to detect and resolve system performance issues.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assist in root cause analysis and incident resolution.

8.Experience in mainframe technologies(Cobol,JCL and Z/OS connect) and mainframe modernization is an advantage

9. Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
