Job description

Job Description RCS Staffing has an immediate need for an I&E Project Engineer/PM in League City, TX. This is a full-time direct-hire Office Based assignment with our client (flexible hours). This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as an I&E Project Engineer/PM The I&E Project Engineer/PM works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements. This position will work with E&I designers to assemble and check construction packages while working on multiple projects and balancing efforts to effectively provide project deliverables to meet fast-paced deadlines while adhering to budgetary constraints. This role requires electrical background and experience with instrumentation technologies and control systems.

As a Project Engineer/PM YOU will: Plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements Work with E&I designers to assemble and check construction packages Prepare concept, schematic design, design development, and construction documents Work on multiple projects while balancing efforts to effectively provide project deliverables to meet fast-paced deadlines while adhering to budgetary constraints Communicate and work with the client on a variety of issues, including progress and status reports, scope, schedule, and budget Track the progress of deliverables, client reviews, technical input, and comment resolution Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost, and scheduling performance Monitor project schedules regularly to determine any delays or deviations Provide construction support including responding to RFI's Execute all aspects of electrical/instrument engineering based on a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts YOU are the ideal Project Engineer/PM candidate if you have: 10+ years of industry experience Electrical background and experience (required) Exposure to various instrumentation technologies Basic knowledge of control systems Experience with electrical systems including VFDs, wire sizing, creating and editing schematics Strong project management skills including schedule monitoring and budget adherence Ability to communicate effectively with clients on progress, scope, schedule, and budget Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts It's a BONUS if you have: Experience with AutoCAD or SmartPlant Instrumentation PE (Professional Engineer) license Construction support and RFI response experience Industrial or petrochemical project experience Advanced knowledge of control systems and instrumentation About Our CLIENT Our client focuses on delivering high-quality engineered plans and details for industrial projects.
