Job description

Education:
• Ph.D. degree with 2 year in analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field
• M.S. degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry
• B.S. degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry.
Experience required:
• Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge with laboratory techniques such as HPLC/UPLC (including SEC, HIC, IEX, and RP), CE, cIEF, Simple Western
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• A strong team player with excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Strong ability to deliver complex objectives under aggressive timelines in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
Required:
• Chromatography (HPLC / UPLC - reverse phase and SEC) or CE(Capillary electrophoresis) experience
Preferred:
• MALS (Multi-angle light scattering )/RI/UV and CAD detection are preferred
• DLS
• Zeta Potential
• Experience in small-molecule (ex. lipid) and/or biologic (ex. protein or mRNA) analysis
• Software: Experience with Empower, 32 Carat, other laboratory software, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
Note:

• Separation methods: Reverse phase, SEC,CE and Hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC)
Responsibilities:
Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Analytical method development
• Routine laboratory testing using separation and biochemical methods.
• Data processing, documentation, and reporting
• Reagent preparation
• Instrument maintenance, tracking, monitoring, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
• Maintaining a safe and clean laboratory
• Document preparation including electronic notebooks.
• Scientific data review.
