Equipment Moving Technician

Are you ready to be part of a hands-on team working with cutting-edge production equipment? As an Equipment Moving Technician, you'll play a key role in setting up advanced manufacturing operations—handling, positioning, and installing large-scale machinery used in battery production.

This is a physically active, fast-paced role perfect for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, being on the move, and seeing the direct impact of their work every day.

What You’ll Do
  • Safely unload and load cargo from trailers and containers using manual and powered equipment
  • Uncrate, move, and position machinery on the production floor
  • Use tools like toe jacks, skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts
  • Follow layout plans to place equipment accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with basic construction and carpentry tasks such as crating and securing
  • Perform heavy lifting and physical work (walking, bending, crawling throughout the day)
  • Support equipment operators by prepping loads and maintaining safe work zones
  • Keep the worksite clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow OSHA and site-specific safety procedures at all times

What You Bring
  • At least 1 year of construction or physical labor experience
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting and long hours on your feet (10+ miles/day walking)
  • Comfortable working in hot, industrial environments
  • Experience with hand tools and general labor tasks
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (we’ll help you get there!)

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have, Not Required)
  • Forklift or equipment operation experience
  • Carpentry or construction
  • Familiarity with industrial job sites or manufacturing facilities
  • Experience using skates, dollies, or rigging equipment

Work Environment & Schedule
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Overtime: Available on Saturdays based on project needs
  • Work inside a large-scale (2M+ sq ft) manufacturing facility
  • Expect a physically demanding, non-climate-controlled environment
  • Daily tasks include extensive walking, lifting, and equipment use
  • Required use of PPE and proper work attire

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
